We will resume posting daily lessons on Tuesday 14th April, at the start of the summer term .
Have a lovely Easter break with your families. Remember to always be kind and helpful at home and to try lots of new things. Keep safe!
Happy Easter to you all, from the three of us - Mrs Hibbert, Mrs Green and Freddo.
Just a little something that may give you (parents and carers) a little bit of time for a quiet cup of tea over the Easter weeks.
The recipe is easy and it takes 5 minutes to make, plus it lasts for up to 3 months if you keep it in an airtight container in the fridge.
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of salt
2 teaspoons of cream of tartar
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of oil
Mix the ingredients together in a saucepan over a low heat. When it becomes stiffer and starts holding together, take it out, give it a knead and add a few drops of food colouring if you’d like to. Et voila.
Using just 2 simple ingredients, it can be formed and moulded, used to make impressions and cut out shapes and makes the best sand castles ever! It will keep indefinitely when stored in a container with a lid.
4 cups of flour
½ cup veg/baby oil
Simply add the oil to 4 cups of flour. Stir well. That’s all there is to it!
Our Topic this term is...
Have a practise - do you remember the actions?
1 and 9 get along just fine,
2 and 8 are always late!
3 and 7 come from Devon,
4 and 6 are in the mix,
5 and 5 like to jump and jive,
0 and 10 are big strong men!
