Prospectus - Information for Parents

South Brent Primary School

South Brent Primary School is a founding member of The Harbour Schools Partnership (THSP) - formally, Ventrus and The Primary Academies Trust. We converted to Academy status along with eight other primary schools across Devon.  Our collection of school are an exciting mix of urban and rural schools that range in size and context, and are situated throughout Devon.

South Brent Primary School is at the heart of this vibrant village, which has a population of approximately 3000. There is a good range of small shops, a pub, societies and clubs.

Sited two minutes from the A38 Devon Expressway between Exeter and Plymouth, our school nestles in the Dartmoor countryside with the South Devon coast a few miles away.  The school consists of a relatively new school building which is well resourced with excellent facilities and a newer large extension – The Den

We are a group 2 school with a planned pupil admission number of 30. We currently have 178 pupils on roll. Enthusiastic, experienced and committed staff work across seven classes providing friendly support and positive encouragement for our learners.
