Year 3 visit to Ivybridge Library at The Watermark
On Tuesday 3rd October, the Year 3 children had an exciting morning visiting the library at The Watermark in Ivybridge. We took the children on the Stagecoach bus (a first for some of them). The children learnt that buses don't always run on time. Despite our slightly delayed start, we managed to complete all of the book related activities that the library staff had laid on for us. The children also had time to have a play with some Lego as the library have free drop-in Lego sessions on Saturday mornings. We were thrilled that so many children returned their forms to join the library. We look forward to hearing about the books they are reading and hope that some of them will take up The Secret Book Quest Challenge to read 50 books - The Secret Book Quest 22 (librariesunlimited.org.uk)
