DT Bridge Building
As part of our learning linked to rivers, the children were set a bridge building challenge in Design Technology.
After they had investigated various famous bridges and their construction, the children had to make a prototype of their own bridge. Using what they learnt from this process, they then worked in pairs and made their own bridge which had to be able to support the weight of more than 500 Base 10 cubes.
